Helianthus angustifolius
A towering native perennial that lights up the fall garden with a profusion of bright yellow blooms atop slender stems. Swamp sunflower thrives in moist soils and full sun, making it ideal for rain gardens, wet meadows, and pond edges. Native to the southeastern U.S., it provides critical late-season nectar for pollinators and adds bold vertical interest to naturalized plantings.
