After your purchase, we will promptly e-mail or text you to set a date for your plant pickup at our nursery (located in East Atlanta). Castanea mollissima
Chinese chestnut is a large shade tree and nut-producer. Nuts ripen in October. The nuts, when baked, become sweet and have a floury texture. The nuts are also 12% protein! To achieve fruit production, plant multiple trees for cross-pollination purposes.
